- Error: - RVL Logistics (I) Pvt Ltd’ is duplicated in company ‘Poseidon HO – (From 1-Apr-2016)’
- Error Id Number: - 37920
- Reason for Error: - The error ‘Debug Location. (ID: 37920) Duplicated in the company’ occurs in a Tally ERP 9 multi-user environment.
- This might be due to any one of the following reasons:
- The company data is not completely shared with full permission for the users.
- The ping speed from the server to the client might be more than 3ms. This denotes poor LAN connectivity. The ideal ping speed should be less than 3ms.
- Exclusion of Tally ERP 9 folders and the respective files in the Antivirus is not done.
- Caching is not set for the shared data folder.
On receiving this error, a Zero Command Rewrite of data is performed by following the steps shown:
- Take a backup of the company’s data.
- Go to Gateway of Tally > F12: Configuration > Data Configuration and set Load Companies on Startup to No.
- Click on Start and open Run or press Windows key+ R.
- Enter the path of tally.exe file, followed by the data path and Id Number mentioned in the error message.
- Tally.ERP 9 starts from the command prompt.
- When Tally.ERP 9 opens, press Ctrl+Alt+R to Rewrite the company.
- Select the company in which error is occurring.
- When the following popup appears, click on Yes or press Y on keyboard.
- Once rewrite is complete, check if the company is working properly.
- To stop this error from occurring again, Windows caching needs to be set for the data folder. To set caching, follow these steps: -
- Right click on the data folder and select Properties.
- Click on the Sharing tab and click on Advanced Sharing.
- Under Advanced Sharing, tick on Share this folder option and then click on Caching.
- Offline Settings Window opens.
- In Offline Settings, click on the button No files or programs from the shared folder are available offline and click on OK to save the settings.
