- If the following popup appears on opening a company in Tally, follow the steps.
Steps: -
- First, take manual backup of the company which is showing error.
- To take backup manually, open the folder where Tally data is stored and select error company’s folder. (E.g. – company folder name – 10002)
- Copy the folder and Paste it on Desktop.
- Open the folder and select 0 KB & 1 KB TSF files.
- Once selected, delete the TSF files.
- Open Tally.ERP 9.
- Press Ctrl+Alt+R to Rewrite the company and Press Enter to select the company that you need to rewrite.
- When Rewrite popup screen appears, Press Yes to rewrite.
- When Backup before rewriting? Popup appears, Press No .
- The company is rewriting as shown below.
- Once rewrite is complete, click on Select Company.
- Select the company and check the data.
- If company is working properly, copy the company folder again in Tally data folder.
- Rename the company (10002) already existing in Tally data folder.
- Now, Copy the backup folder and Paste it in Tally data folder.
