This module enables the user to Activate or De-activate unwanted Ledgers and Stock Items while doing voucher entry level but the same will reflected in reports wherever required.
Procedure:-
Enable the deactivate add -on feature for ledgers
- Go to gateway of tally >Account info
- Go to ledger
- Click on ledger alteration tab
- Select the ledger which needs to be deactivated
- Click on deactivate the ledger yes
- Click on yes to accept the changes
Enable the deactivate add -on feature for stock item
- Go to gateway of tally > inventory info
- Click on stock items
- Click on alteration tab of stock item
- Select the stock item which needs to be deactivated
- Click on deactivate the stock item
- Click on yes to accept the changes
How does “Activate and deactivate Add on” work in Tally ?
Select the ledger which needs to be deactivated
For example :-3M stationary is to deactivated
- Enable Deactivate the ledger as YES
- Click on YES to accept the changes
